The event encompassed 8 different categories including business, arts, politics, psychology, Judaism, sports, history and science. Geography of lecturers was quite spread – France, United States, Israel, United Kingdom, Russia, Belarus and Poland. A huge achievement of Limmud 2019 was that most of the lecturers paid for their accommodation and transportation costs themselves. Additionally, during 2019 Limmud Baltics team had a possibility to participate in a Feedbacking 2019 and Envisioning 2020 project sessions, during which we worked out a list of Improvements, including a set of activities required for making Limmud Baltics self-sustaining.
