My name is Alon Shoham. I am married and a father to two sons. I was born in Riga in 1965 and immigrated with my parents to Israel at 1971. I was raised in Israel (Holon), served in IDF and worked as an immigration officer at Ben-Gurion airport. Graduate in political studies and currently working on my PhD. dissertation in that field. In 1995 joint Israeli MFA, graduate a cadet course and was stationed on a diplomatic/consular mission in Kiev followed by Prague and Beijing. At my current diplomatic mission, I serve as the ambassador to Belarus.
